I'm making a DVD – which is better? 16:9 or 4:3?
I recently went to the Georgia Aquarium. I have a lot of pictures and also a lot of videos I want to show in a presentation and format of film together. I have a Sony 40 "HDTV.'m Confused about a choice for video and / or slide images (not sure if you asked for the image aspect ratio, but it sure is for the video before burning the DVD). Which is better on a TV? 16:9 or 4:3? I hate widescreen material on the top and bottom of the screen is basically cut and black – 16:9 is true that I am going to do this? Should I continue with 4:3 if I want to full screen? I record HD video, either. So … anyway, I know it will not be perfect. Only I wondered who choose to view full screen instead of widescreen. Thanks! If it is of some importance, I'm just using the basic Windows Movie Maker to record DVD, since I'm not trying to go for anything too extravagant.
Since your source is 4:3, it really does not matter if you use 4:3, on TV you see the sidebars, but can use the TV aspect button to climb. If you use 16:9, Movie Maker will be the expansion and full screen display your HDTV.
