Im restarting my tank?
Hello! So here I have my 10 g im going to score again after a while without using it, because the turtles in it is quite tired, i plan on your building to have 2 or 3 goldfish, because they are cold water fish and therefore I do not think a heater is essential for them, but I am no expert I know I have to wash in hot water the gravel, stones and things that are as decoration (im planning to buy more land courts), but I'm also planning to use that instead of tap water I use normal as drinking water using tap water for lead in water gradually decreasing and leaving behind a gray spot just need some advice (oh by the way, I use one of those 15.5 g. Aqua Tech filter) How I can remove these stains gray outside the acrylic? (Which seem to disappear with the water, but come back) How I can remove some stains that appear on the filter cover thingy which I suspect are a species of fungi? A. There are benefits in the normal use of drinking water rather than tap water? thx every1!
The spots are not fungi, which are water deposits evaporated. Simply clean with a damp paper towel. Goldfish should not be given because they get about 8 inches, try some cold water fish smaller as small fish (small fish White Cloud are cool). You could get about 10 small fish for your tank and it would be nice, to be more fun than the Goldfish anyway … Just use tap water. Each time you do a water change, take 20 seconds to clean the mineral, not a big deal and is much cheaper than bottled water. If you do not have to do this for turtles (I have no experience with turtles), add some water dechlorinater water before adding the fish, this will prevent chemicals in the water to kill fish.
