Can you keep a clown fish in a tropical aquarium? (No salt or mild)?
I have a tropical aquarium, and I started with a few fish, guppies, mollies, Plati, Corys pepper etc, but I won that can keep the clown fish in a tropical aquarium from a friend with experience that has kept many fish for many years. No. This is a saltwater fish. If you want the color and taste of salt water fish in a freshwater tank, go for African cichlids. Be warned though, these are aggressive fish, and so can only be kept with other African cichlids. Also, which generally require a large tank (29 gal. and more) and can not have live plants, because root out and destroy.
