How should I organize my aquarium lighting?
I have a 4 foot, 80-gallon aquarium that is 2 meters deep, has a dual lighting system consisting of two 36inch bulbs. I bought a white bulb and a bulb navy blue color, which would blow for a better look, more natural blue to the front or back?
The first thing's first – is your aquarium and is entirely decided what you want the aquarium to look like. The combination of blue and white will create a good spectrum of light that makes your fish look great and also helps to grow plants, if any. Simply remove the cap and the slot in the bulbs in any way, replace the hood and lighting. Then exchange on the bulbs and see what works best. I personally would go to the front white bulb with the blue sea in the back to create extra depth, a tone and a powerful combination of good overall, but remember, it's YOUR CHOICE!
