It's a long 55 gallon saltwater tank better than a 28-30 gallon aquarium Nano?
Can you add more of a selection of corals to it?
Yes 55gal drum is much better, as long as your budget and space allows for the larger tank. We all know how that can be fun and relaxing be to have an aquarium at home but the choice to switch to salt water will certainly serve you well. As you probably already know your options with salt water as an almost endless fish and corals going to say nothing of the options for tropical environments as well. If space is limited so I recommend going with an acrylic aquarium, and there are more varieties of shapes and sizes are acrylic with glass. Hope that helps.
