Is this normal child?
My niece is about 10 years .. She has a better vocabulary than any adult I've ever seen. She is fasinated with science and reading books that confuse me (lots of big words, etc.). She keeps an aquarium full of saltwater fish, coral, and inveribrates. Is the model of some of reefs in Indonesia to do seen on Animal Planet. We take it the fish store and she sometimes confuses people who work there by reference to the animals by their scientific names. She raising chickens and poultry samples shows and do very well in the sample. Another strange thing is that from the time I was little, she never seems to sleep. Usually only about 5 hours sleep per night, and functions normaly too.She is tedious and hyperactive easally more often.
She is, obviously, with talent. My son was a HIGH VOCAB also for his age and goals which are also high for a child 10 years of age. I had my son tested at school. Its coefficient intellectual was very high for a child his age. They tend to get bored easily and have a good memory.
