Mini Reef 10 gallon setup. How much light?
Im thinking of trying a 10-gallon mini-reef aquarium. How much light I need? Do they make high powered lights to fit a 10 gallon tank?

I usually "Using CoralLife Aqualight" systems for my smaller tanks saltwater but aside from his mini (9 "): http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/group/10934/product.web, no lighting under 24". the amount of illumination you need depends a lot on what types of coral you want to keep. stony corals need a higher intensity lighting soft corals (in general, there are some exceptions). You could also look at T-5 systems. The reason you will not find many lights in this size is 10 gallons is pretty small for a tank marine – is difficult to maintain the temperature and stable water chemistry in something so small. Not to mention that there are very few fish that are suitable for a marine tank that size, and you would not be able to keep more than 1-2 very small fish (marine species and tend to be territorial and big as adults).
