I have a couple things I need some tips and one of them is what kind of deposit for the purchase, I would like an 80-100 gallon, but I'm not sure if a top up or down would be better, I live in Canada and we have cold winters and hot summers (with an A / C) If I'm using metal halide lamps in a closed tank top causes overheating the water? will open the top of maintaining the temperature. difficult to remain constant? any help would be great!
Good the answer will vary greatly. I've been doing saltwater tanks, now 30 years and have seen so much technology change. You will have to regulate the temperature of any as a heater and a refrigerator can be used. The open top will improve the lighting to reach its people.
