How often do I add salt to my freshwater aquarium to treat ICH?
Thanks to all who answered my question fisrt. Now I need to know .. "How often do I add the salt," to cure ich, you were right! Blue matter is garbage going to try the salt … 55 gallon tank, 1 tbsp. per 5 gallons …. How often should I do this??
Salt does not cure the ICH. Salt is used to prevent infections and maintain healthy fish, not to cure infections of bacteria or parasites. The drug works when used correctly. I use "blue things" in the past and it works great. If you follow the instructions and add on as they say, along with the heater up in a week to 2 weeks will clear up. After following instructions and leave the medicine when it is said, is not a water change, and obtain new carbon to the filter. Make sure you get to the stove, which is really the key, that accelerates the life cycle of ICH making it easier for the drug to stop. Best of luck .. and I suggest you try the medicine again. Its use with clothing with temperature. should work.
