What are the benefits of having live plants in my freshwater aquarium?
I have live bearers, concrete Guppies, platies and A's in Tail.They Sword 5 gallon aquarium.
The benefits of live plants are living on fish waste and light to grow …. off the oxygen in the water for fish and create ideal hiding place for fish …. turn the fish feel more comfortable. I am concerned with the amount and type of fish you have in a 5 gallon tank. This is a common form of "approximately" imagine if there are not many fish in the tank. Your guppies get 3 inches. Platys 3 inches and centimeters Swordtail 5. Now add all the inches of fish together and that is approx. how many gallons you need. (Ie, 3 @ 3 guppies in each need 9 gallons Etc ….)
