Saltwater aquarium compatibility?
My friend and I are trying to find a tank like this: http://www.jellyfishart.com/Desktop-Jellyfish-Tank-and-Starter-Kit-p/dsktnkst.htm We found this, looks almost identical: http://www.petco.com/product/100511/biUbe-Black-Aquarium-Kit-with-Light.aspx before questions arise from the tanks salt water tanks need to be very large, we have found is actually bigger than the supply web site jellyfishart -. I realize that there are differences between salt and fresh water, but as you can see the Petco website really does not clarify anything about the questions I have. Does anyone have any suggestions? Yes, we are trying to keep the jellyfish as pets, according to the owners of these exotic pets – are fairly easy to maintain and wonderful to have in your home.
Jellyfish have special needs. They need a tank round, because their tissue is so delicate that it can die if hit squarely against a flat glass current. The bottom of the tank should also be rounded, but that problem seems to have been resolved with the use of marble and gravel top.
