55 gallon freshwater tank installation?
I have a 55 gallon pentagon tank glass just inherited from my uncle. No idea where to start as far as their implementation, design, and fish. This question is quite aquariums for dummies. I want it to be fresh water and appearance of a fund of the river … with large stones and some larger stones. Does anyone have any ideas / suggestions / expertise / advice to offer about configuring this? I want to use artificial plants that I would like suggestions on that too. Images of fish are also excellent! Thank you.
Really, I just go with whatever he wants. Go to your local pet store and get the gravel and decorations that they feel better. Make sure you have a place for fish to have hidden or made cover. Place taller plants in back and shorter in the front. Make sure you have good filtration and airflow. Do not get the same fish day that you set up your tank. (People say I can, but it's better to wait.) Make sure you use a water conditioner. Set your tank at all rather fill it with water, put into the filter and let sit a few days. The selection of fish are only a few at first. Select a resilient fish that can live in a number of different conditions. This will cause the natural flow of bacteria in your tank started. (This is a good bacteria your fish is needed). Never add more than a few fish while your tank. The fish should be grouped into the pet store in 3 or 4 main categories. Community Semi-Aggressive, Goldfish, aggressive. Goldfish are very dirty fish tank and require more maintenance than other fish. Should the group of fish in the tank accordingly. Do not mix aggressive fish community fish, simply not work. Although you can mix a bit of semi aggressive community fish. Example, tabs are not as aggressive if they are kept in schools of 6 or more. I would go to the pet store, look at the fish you want, write their names, and then go home and Google. I also recommend getting a python can connect to your sink to make water changes easier. And, do 10-25% water change weekly.
