Is UV light harmfull to fish?What kind of light do they need?
I have a white neon set behind the fish tank but I covered it with blue paper because the light is too strong and there is a UV neon in the room.Is UV light harmfull for them?What light do they need and what would be the best position for it?

What people don’t understand is that they use UV lights to kill off algae blooms and other harmful bacteria for the fish. However, that is called UV Sterilizer. Like the previous post says, UV lights brings out the colors in the fishes.
UV lights is only harmful to these fishes if it kills off the good bacteria in the tank for the fishes. So to answer your question, No UV lights is not dangerous for the fishes, however, you may want to consider halide lights for your fishes.
If you want to prevent algae bloom, you may want to consider UV Sterilizer.
