beta water treatment / conditioner for a tropical fish tank/?
can you use Betta plus water conditioner for a tropical fish tank to condition the water? and also i got told to start the cycle in a fish tank use fish food. would beta fish food work?
Yes it’s fine, the major difference between betta and regular conditioner is the concentration. The Betta’s is usually at a lower concentration b/c lower amounts are needed b/c of their smaller homes.
What are you feeding the food too? Betta food is generally higher in it’s meat content as they are a little more carnivorous than typical tropical community fish. It’ll be fine, but things like mollies and guppies need more vegetables in their food.
I don;t know what you mean by start the cycle. Do you mean getting the ammonia started and creating the new beneficial bacteria? Because yes it would, but why not start with a simple fishy?
