how long are you supposed to do cycling for in a fish tank before getting the fish?
Hopefully by Saturday i should have my fish tank, stones, filter, conditions, food, plants, a hidy place etc… and any other stuff such as ammonia while at the pet shop too getting stuff.
how long are you supposed to do cycling for? someone gave me this site, it says ‘a few days’ how many is the recommended amount of days, a week?
P.S. if this helps:
- i wil get 5-6 neon tetra fish
- its a 30inch long tank
- most stuff, tank and stuff for water will be by ‘Tetra’ LOL.
P.S.
i measured our tap water temperature and kept it out all day yesterday the temperate stayed between 22 and 25 degrees celsius, this is the right temperature for these type of fish, do i still need a heater?
you are suppose to cycle the tank for a week 
thats what i did and my fish have been living for two years now!
