things in my fish tank wont stay at the bottom?
i have this small plant pot in my tank which is open both ends. i have 2 quite small fish so the tank isn’t that big (its big enough, i checked) and it has 2 fake plants in.. i need to clean their tank out soon as its been about 3 weeks. (is this too long?) its not looking too dirty but the plant pot will not stay on the bottom of the tank! it keeps floating up? the fish are fine and can swim to the bottom etc its just the plant pot? is this anything to worry about?
No it is not.
Plant roots are full of oxygen so it is buoyant, get a bit of leaded weight from an aquarium shop to counter this. Or lean a stone up against it.
It’s a common problem.
