In my fish tank the pump seams to be over working and making a straining noise like it is working its full hardest to pump the water into the filter it is just a standard submersed pump that has been fine it is quite a new pump aslweel and the water level is at what it should be. Any ideas??
Ok for all the people answring this question wit hgout fish experince you all wrong some answers are funny e.g. take the whoel tank to bits and clean it, what has that got to do with the pump going into the filter i think these people really do need to cheack ehat they are saying you cannot just “emptie” a tank liek that it would roiune the cycles people just want some points really you should try leaving the pump off for an hour to cool and just to settle due to it has been on for weeks/months and could over heat and just give it a quick clean!
