Betta Fish Tank Ornament?
What are some kind of some ornaments i can make for my small little adorable bettas using household items? They live in a decent sized tank, but I dont want it to be bigger then the size of my hand.
Pretty much just unpainted glass. Any kind of paint that isn’t specifically made to go into an aquarium can’t be guaranteed safe for your fish. Metal will corrode into the water, and plastics will release chemicals too. Even most rocks and wood from the great outdoors can release bad stuff into the tank water. If you want to be creative, they sell “marine epoxy” at fish stores and hardware stores and you can coat your intended decor in it, as long as you’re sure you get every little crack and wrinkle.
