Fish Tank Lighting Normal Light Bulbs?
I just got a fantail goldfish in a basic plastic 2 gallon bowl. I am wondering if it is ok to give my fish lighting from a normal 60 watt lamp lightbulb?
The bulb is a good 2 feet away from the tank, and it is barely giving off any heat, so I am not too worried about it overheating the water.
yes its fine, however the incandescent lights give off a lot of heat, which may heat the water a little, so switch to 60w equivalent fluorescent bulb if you can, you’ll be saving energy too!
