what can i clean a glass fish tank with, other than water?

First off if you have fish, you should NOT be emptying your tank here to clean. 25% no more once per week. Emptying the tank you are going to kill off all the beneficial bacteria you have in the tank.
If your tank is already empty or new and you are just looking to clean it or clean it before you start it up you can use a number of things here.
Hydgeron Peroxide (H2O2) is fine and will not hurt any fish placed in the tank. Vinegar or lemons mixed with salt for tough water stains, razor scraper even bleach is fine. Bleach is fine if you remember to rinse well with dechlor water. (it will neutralize any bleach residue you did not rinse off.)
