A few (more) fish tank questions?
a.) Which would be best to cycle a FW tank with? Celestial Pearl Danio; Scarlet Gem Badis; Endler’s Livebearer
b.) Would Celestial Pearl Danio or Scarlet Gem Badis be easier to breed?
1. i started my 55 gallon freshwater aquarium by using a solution called nutrafin cycle by hagen. its biological aquarium supplements, which means its beneficial bacteria that is needed to give a jump start in your aquarium cycle. after the proper use of it, it allows the introduction of fish within 48 hours of use. i used this on my 55 gallon freshwater community aquarium, 10 gallon heavily planted aquarium and my 75 african cichlid aquarium. the bottle costs from around 6-20 dollars depending on what size you buy, this can be found in any local fish store.
2. badis are easier to breed, as they protect their eggs very aggressively and they will protect their fry when they a free swimming. (i was breeding them for a few months and got bored, gave them to my friend, who is still breeding them rather succesfully)
