What is a good tank cleaning fish?
I have a smaller tank with two fire belly newts in it, i recently put some feeder guppies in it (thinking they would get eaten but so far they are surviving) and i was wondering if there is a small fish i could put in there to keep it a little cleaner?
There are a vast variety of bottom-feeders like algae eaters and the common pleco or catfish. Snails are always an idea, but they might multiply and get out of control. Another idea would be to get freshwater clams since they filterfeed out of the water cleaning it before it turns into green stuff. You can buy some on eBay for cheap prices.
