How do you put fish tank filter with wool and air stones together?
Do the stones go inside of the filter with the wool or at the bottom under the little grid that comes with the filter?
Put the grid in. Put in about 1/4-3/8 inch of activated charcoal. Pack the rest with filter floss. Airstone is suspended by a piece of tubing at the bottom of the tube/grid assembly.
One of the finest and most underrated filters out there. Prior to the 1970′s it was the most common for generations. By the 1980′s or 1990′s it was largely overlooked by consumers, but popular with stores.
