Jewel/Juwel fish tanks?
My friend has a Juwel (or Jewel – sp?) fish tank, he says its the bow fronted one. And is about 3ft long, 1.5ft wide and about the 1.8ft deep (this is off him waving him arms in the air going “its this wide” etc. lol). He couldn’t remember but thought it was 180L (does this sound about right?). Anyway, he has everything for it, loads of accessories and stuff and says I can have it for £50 (its worth £300). Are these good tanks? It’s a Jewel 180 tank. I’ve recently bought one and they are great. £50 is an unbelievable price! I bought mine 2nd hand off ebay for £150 and I thought it was a bargain. If you maintain the filter correctly it will not block up, and I haven’t had a fish end up in there in the 3 months I’ve had it…the filter has a lid on it.
If your friend is selling you the proper cabinet with it then even better. If he wants more for the cabinet as well then I would suggest buying it.
