I have a 20 gallon tank and a filter tank with 25 guppies and some plants natural. is the oxygen of aquarium filter is enough to survive or should I buy an oxygen bomb??
No. For starters, air pumps NO add oxygen to water. The purpose of adding an air stone and pump the tank is to create surface agitation. This makes the toxic gases and oxygen dissipativity more rappidly dissolve in water. Now if you have an engine or biowheel, you can place the filter so that the water literally shoots into the tank of the building lots of excitement. This is usually noisy and messy though. A suitable air pump costs about $ 20, an air stone around $ 5. Divide and fork on cash fish will thank you
