what filter I use for my aquarium ?????
I'm thinking to have 3 neon rainbow fish dwarf, 3 gourmis red dwarf, 1 betta (fighting fish), 4 (or 6) neon tetras and two catfish. I bought a tank of 65 liters and it came with a filter plate, but his strong and producing much of a current And I know that most of the fish above need gentle currents that are not as strong. so my question is what type of filter should I use to have clean water, but provides a smooth flow? (preferably without chemicals involved) or How can I reduce the flow of the filter plate that already has????
I believe that overcrowding could be a little tank – I estimate that 65 liters is about 17 gallons. What are you using to feed your undergravel now? If using an air pump (which should not produce as strong of a stream), you can put a check valve in the air tube to adjust the flow. If you are using a head of power, this could have an adjustment lever that slides to control the flow – if not, the point to the glass directly to the front – This will create a stream stronger in that area, but will be less strong at the other end of the tank. Then, the fish can get to the part they like, or come and go if you want to rest or swim. Another option is a wing – in the filter. People who have leaked biowheels best overall, but other types also work well. Just be careful buy a filter (or head) to choose the right size for your deposit. You want something that is rated by 5 to 10 times the tank volume per hour. For you, this would 85 gallons (325 liters) to 170 gallons (650 liters) per hour. A little more will not hurt, but much is not actually provide that much better filtration – But wear your fish!
