Air pump?
I am thinking of buying an air pump. I have a 29gall. freshwater aquarium. I have an external filter on the left side of my tank. I I am thinking or buying an air pump on the right side of my tank .. What brand works best. What should I do to connect the pump to allow the flow of bubbles in my aquarium? Does this help the fish breathe easier? What size and how much will it cost approxiametly pump?
Hot Stuff Hi, not many people know this, but an air pump that actually does not oxygenate the water with bubbles! In order to run a airstones is to move the stagnant water of the lower parts of his tank to the elderly, the most well-filtered. This does not help the fish breathe easier as it ensures the water is constantly moving, without deadlocks. In addition to the air pump, you need some airlines and some airstones or bubble curtains depending on your preference. If possible buy the airline blue-silicone material PVC regular tends to go hard and turn white after a few weeks. On the airstones the best I've found so far are the the round black plastic made by Hagen. The stones tend to crumble after a while and do not give out a balanced distribution of the bubbles. There are many good makes air pumps, but they are particularly well done Rena and perform a wide range of different models for different tank sizes.
