Clown Trigger – a dog trained in a saltwater tank
Clown trigger is one of the most unique and interesting species of fish. It is often described as a dog in a fish tank as it may have as much personality as your family dog. Some people even patterns, but depending on your personality individual, this could result in a nasty bite.
The Clown is shot in the tropical waters off the coast of Africa, the Indo-Pacific and in the Red Sea at a depth of one to seventy-five meters. Mostly live in coral reefs and can grow to eighteen inches long. His unique coloring and amazing personality is what drives many people to keep this fish as a pet.
The clown trigger is a scaleless fish related leather jacket leather. The color pattern of adult (dark body with large white patches on belly and small black dots on a yellow background above the fold) is clearly different to a minor (small white spots all over his body with only a small yellow area around the dorsal fin), but both are equally beautiful. Adults are a solitary species often seen swimming through the water open. Young people are more reserved and often live in small caves.
When nesting clown trigger will be very protective, often targeting drivers who get too close. They have been known to bite divers repeatedly including drawing, blood through clothing.
When threatened by a larger fish is the trigger is held in place as it is a clumsy way of eating and widen their spines. This is one reason why you should always use a double bag for transport. You can also use their spines to wedge itself into nooks and crannies of the reef injection of the thorns in the rock. It is common to have a shot courtesy unusual place to sleep in this capacity, making it less likely to be discovered by a predator.
This is a very robust fish that is easy to maintain. Is less prone to the development of white spot that some coral reef fish and others. If stain develops white drop of 1,018 salinity can do, without medication.
When you save a clown trigger never know what's going to get, as they can become very aggressive. One more shot young clown fish can be compatible. However, as you mature, your personality can be quite varied. A clown triggers that grows in a reef aquarium community could become a docile big fish, living in harmony with other inhabitants of the tank. On the other hand, could become psychotic tank and attacks including fish, corals, your cat and even you.
While you can never predict how the personality of its Shooting develop, there is a better chance to produce a fish more comfortable with the introduction to his tank at a younger age, to keep him and other peaceful fish do not feed live food. Ideally, these fish should be fed a variety of high quality foods including pellets and frozen products.
Allowing greater time intervals between feeding, food for human consumption and progressively increase the size of what is fueling have the opposite effect, producing a fish so aggressive, that could easily kill a small shark. In fact, triggers are more aggressive toward the larger creatures such as sharks and rays, often tweaking them, so be careful when mixing these species. Nor is it a good idea to maintain triggers with invertebrates and snails, as these are an important part of their natural diet.
In nature, strong jaws clown trigger is used to crush sea urchins, crustaceans and hard-shelled mollusks. In your aquarium that could be used to chop through aircraft or power chord, so make sure you have a safety switch. Also biting the hand, tearing your flesh, which is very painful to be cautious. (This is another reason to keep them in a double bag when moving, and they can chew by one.)
While there may be a handful, triggers have incredible personalities that make it worthwhile. This is one of the fish smarter than you will find and often engage in behaviors that appear to be exclusively for their own entertainment. Also do many things to draw attention or to get fed. This author may refer to many weird and wonderful stories involving triggers. One is a piece of shot accumulated rock, piece, a delicate balance tower. At the risk of sounding anthropomorphic seemed very proud of his work, pausing to admire the structure after each rock successfully balanced and even defend your tower from other fish. When the tower had fallen at last on the Trigger to start again which is growing. (In the same vein, shot by a tank corals often travel to collect corals and placing them wherever you want.)
On other occasions I have seen triggers happy participate in games such as tracing your finger or search. They love to chase your finger along the glass tank. At times I have fallen several times a small object in color tank, only to see the trigger swim down, pick them up and spit out the water.
It is common for a trigger to do anything to get their attention. Can make the pounding sounds of rock crashing into the glass or other rocks, spitting and splashing of large quantities of water from the tank, biting the front glass tank to the point where the scratches or swim upside down throwing like crazy against the glass of the aquarium (possibly because they are enjoying the strange sensation starting in reverse). If you're worried, just make sure you have a set of caps on the tank. This will prevent water from spitting in the light connections and on the floor and jumping.
Triggers can be easily be taught to jump out of the tank for food. Once your trip is comfortable to be hand fed, you can begin to slowly increase the food out of water and of course the fish will swim to get it. Before you know it the fish will be literally jumping out of water with a pin point accuracy in order to seize food out of his hand. Over time, even jump out of the tank to land the floor (if not for your trusted network). Just be sure to place food at the right angle, and of course the catch every time.
The trigger more infamous this author has put him Nugget was small, it did not matter who picked up the water to feed. Could even put it in a can of food for fish and watching him try to eat the food while sitting on the can. I would put it back into the water after twenty seconds, but it always seems willing to do so again, coming to back to the place from which he removed.
Another type of trigger that you should keep in mind is the trigger of Moses. This is a very shy species that spends more time underground, making it more difficult to be aware of their actions. If a trigger attacks another clown fish will be very clear that it was the clown trigger was responsible. However, with the Mosaic shot often seem mild and harmless when it is close, but systematically kill other fish. The Mosaic is much less predictable a clown trigger and possibly should not be kept with other fish. Their coloring is not as surprising as the activation of the clown. It is a pale green fish looking with yellow stripes.
The trigger of the clown is really a fantastic and fascinating fish and amazing fish to maintain. The beautiful color and amazing personality makes this a fish that never regret buying, and definitely never forget.
