LED lighting for aquarium?
I have a 50 watt LED light that is over a 10 gallon tank. Will this plant growth. Can I put coral in this tank. You can also connect a screw in compact fluorescent if necessary. If an LED has no effect on the coral, why Why do small LED lights for corals in the night …
Wow too many answers wrong here. Depending on the LED that is, they may be able to use. The small blue LED that we are talking about are double moonlight, some believe it helps the coral to spawn, others use it just because they like the look and are able see the tank after lights out normal. The spectrum of light to others are talking about is far away. Corals grow best in 6500Kelvin to 20,000 degrees Kelvin. The sun is about 5500 degrees Kelvin. However, the small score that may help cause massive algae breaks. The final 20,000 Kelvin cause slow growth, but rather the color of coral. The torque level or photosynthetically active radiation is more important than the spectrum. But ultimately, it would be better with a T-5 small inexpensive device to light a 10 gallon.
