Where should I position my carbon filter fully submersible in my tropical aquarium?
I just bought a fully submersible carbon-filter for my tropical aquarium. Where is the best place to locate? in the tank top or the bottom? I believe the bottom because thats where all the land until the desired time, but wanted to ask before doing something stupid or ineffective.
is better to have the output, where they spit, near the top, all filters are near the top, to allow movement of the surface and oxygen exchange. Dirt on the bottom will not be "sucked" by the filter if paste at the bottom, that's what your weekly gravel vacuum and partial water changes will be handled.
