Freshwater fish night.?
Hello, I have a 120 gallon tank cycling. now I have a disk after a sudden illness that had truck 8 by 26 Neon 20 wihte 2 cats cloud minnows and glasscatfish Corey 10. I am looking for a nice fresh water fish at night. add to my aquarium. I was thinking loachs clown but get awefully big. Both of your answers will not make any sense first of all that have cared for fish for years and I'm sure you know who do not live in water Annie brackish and yours is more stupid, because this is the Internet. No, the disc does not live in brackish water! There are many freshwater fish at night, including most catfish. You might try a "scratch Rafael" catfish, Striped sp., O one of the cats "banjo" or "catfish industry (Farlowella sp.) Where tank. However, the worst record keepers keep them in a species tank (single disc, with any other kind). The main reason is that hard, because they come very clean, almost sterile water, that very little disease resistance, so it can quickly suffer from infections that could not even bother the other fish in the tank. Wild-caught fish, in particular (that probably are the neon and cats and cats cory glass can be) tend to have the guts full of parasites and variety of different infectious microbes of the skin and gills. Most fish do not visibly sick of these until they stood out, but again, the disc has disease resistance very low.
