What do I need to maintain a pool of 75 liters?
To properly configure the 75 gallon tank, what do I need? Currently I have 4 goldfish, fish food, water lilies 2, a pump with filter, de-icer, ph strips, dechlorinator, thermometer aquarium clearing the pond (to protect from predators) … What else? How often should I clean the pool? which tools?
What kind of goldfish? If you are carp or koi or anything like that, you will need a pond large as 1000 + of each fish. You can keep these fish in the pond until they become full size it is, but it is best not to risk, it may stunt their growth. Instead suggest getting fancy goldfish. You would fit very well in five pond. For goldfish, you'll need a good filter, tanks twice the size of their own, at least, since fish colors produce a large amount of waste and additional filtering is necessary. A filter 150 liters would be more ideal. You will need something more than the pH testers. Need ammonia, nitrites and nitrates and testers, as they are more difficult to maintain. You must cycle the lagoon in advance, because it is a large body of water, would that have been operating for at least 3-6 weeks. To clean the pond, make a 25% water change every week.
