How do I care for baby fish?
My Molly just gave birth. I ALREADY separated from larger fish (in a small tank of your super 1.8 liter aquarium SpongeBob years). I need to know some things because I never had children before. How should I feed them (like the type of quantity and when?) I've also read that some people say that feeding them 3-6 times a day and others have said once a week? Next, infants need a filter and a heater? How can I change the water for them and when would I? What if they die and can not find because they are so small? Any advice and help just for me, because I really need help
You can feed them microworms, baby brine, or simply crush flake food and feed powder than. want to feed more frequently for faster growth. You can live weekly feeding, but growth would be minimal to nonexistent. 6 meals small per day would be great, except it's not really realistic for most people. I just think when you can, in small quantities – not necessarily be the same number of times each day, and will not hurt them if you have to skip a day. Heated, filtered water is the healthiest environment can raise in. You will find hardest in the tank too small to breed them and keep them healthy – better get a 5 or 10 gallons to grow on, and also allow room for pollutents absorb the dead. I picked up tons of molly fry just keep them in the tank with the adults, including raising tons of grass and plants in the tank. small, frequent water changes are best. They grow and grow best in the cleanest water. 10% of the water as often as you like (yes, even every day if you want), though partial water changes are difficult in that little thing.
