How I can completely empty an aquarium?
Having fish as a hobby for many years, I have decided to no longer have fish after that the latter died. I removed all the plants, gravel, under gravel filters, pumps, thermometers and light bells. The deposit is about 25 gallons. I shifted out as much water as possible, leaving about 2 "of muddy water-repellent. I'm not strong enough to pick up the tank and discharges it out outside – so …. What now? ~ ~ Thanks for any idea!
I have the same problem, getting a large tank that has always been problematic for me. I can not think about three ways to help. Ask someone with the muscle to help you dump in the tub. Or maybe have a drink and eliminate as much water as you can. Then find something to absorb the water as you can spare an old towel. But if neither is an option, you may need to take as much water as possible with a cup, then let the rest evaporates. But this can be a bit of a nuisance, and sometimes smells. Good luck.
