I'm trying to start a 55 gallon marine aquarium and I want a lion fish. What other fish / settings should I have?
I just do not know which fish are best suited to add to this tank, there are none, well i dont know about choosing the corals, can anyone help me?
for a 55 i wouldnt even bother with corals and lionfish, are very messy eaters. saying that a good dual or quad tube compact fluorescent and you could save some polyps of different mushrooms and told him he was fine, but they are actually better Lionfish FOWLR tank. as for the group, I would go with a 130 W compact fluorescent lamp, a good filter wet / dry, protein skimmer and good, I like the Coralife super skimmer, get one of 125, which will help you. A queen conch should help with the algae, is good. you can not use smaller newspapers hermits and snails, lion will eat them. and of course, live rock, 40-60 pounds, is trying to give much stack space. even with a dwarf lion most likely want to keep them apart, the majority of fish that can go along with a large and lions and dwarfs are about 6-8 "or so. foxface eels are the first to arise in the mind that are well with them. Be careful since they have poisonous spines that cause much pain, and will have to be hospitalized, atleast ER. they will eat the most fish and shellfish in a avilable grocey more preperations and frozen foods, flakes and pellets are out of these fish and not under any circumstance freahwater feeder fish to feed, will cause liver failure, if you feed fish freahwater over a long period of time. for more information check wetwebmedia.com have a lot in set-ups and any problems people have experienced.
