Black tail injury moor * Help *?

ok so I realized today that my young black moor has a gash on his tail, almost as if someone cut with scissors. I'm pretty sure is not fun because Ros is not like the fin is moldy or spoiled that there is a clean cut through it. Soo 1) Does this sound like a type of decomposition of the fin? 2) given that this is an injury not just leave me be to heal or is there something I can do? (also add aquarium salt to my tank to boost your immune system that helps heal your order?) Where can I find melafix? is easy to find?

First ditch the salt. Salt does nothing for the immune system of a goldfish or any other is simply salt. Epsom salt will work better. Cold-water fish should not sodium have put in your tank for any reason. This can lead to swelling and swim bladder problems. Melafix any food or work for antibacterial help keep infections away. He will heal itself more than likely. Melafix can be purchased anywhere Supples fish are sold. If any antibiotic will. Next change to omit the salt water.
