How to build a terrarium?

I have a 45 gal hex (corner) aquarium that I would like to make a terrarium. Id like to tropical, not desert like. I may eventually add a lizard, but is undecided. So where I can start? What do I need know? What plants work best? Where I can find plants and supplies? Where I can find a rock wall, or how to create one? What are my options for creatures that live in it? (Since I do not want a source of water in the tank), but one thing small water dish, as you can. Tank to get a lot of indirect sunlight, do I still need special bulbs? What are some common "problems" that need to be aware that should be avoided? Thanks in advance!

Good ideal, but can be a difficult, if you want to enter a lizard terrarium later you have to choose wisely your plants some plants are toxic to lizards. There are some plant foods that are highly toxic to lizards Here is a link to that information. http://petcaretips.net/poisonous-plants-turtles-lizards.html Here is a list of nontoxic plants for lizards. http://www.geocities. com / chameleoncreatures / nontoxicplants.html If you want a tropical terrarium may include some rare plants. http://www.glasshouseworks.com/terrariumplants.html You might consider a desert terrarium. http://images.search.yahoo.com/images/view?back = http% 2Fimages.search.yahoo.com 3A% 2F% 2Fsearch% 2Fimages%%%% 3Fp 3Ddesert 2Bterrarium% 26fr% 3Dslv8-% 26ei% 3Dutf-8% 26x% 3DSearch 3Dwrt% 26 And% & w = 600 & h Imgurl = gallery =. 448; pethobbyist.com% 2Fdata% 2F32679TerrariumGesamtklein-med.jpg and rurl% = http% 3A% 2F% 2F% 3D132325% 2Fgallery.pethobbyist.com 3Fphoto and size = 54.1kB & name = 32679TerrariumGesamtklein-med.jpg & p = desert + cage & type = JPG & oid = 97102a9ab02ea080 and no = 1 & tt = 99 and SIGR = 11cfvufia and sigi = 11uqhao64 and ILS = 130sdq742 you know it's an information overload, but you might check at a pet store. You should be able to put together a wonderful terrarium. It is better to be informed before you start. Take your time, and you will enjoy it more.
