Glass bowl in front of the aquarium?
I'm thinking of getting a betta, and what I really want to do is the house of him / her in a bowl glass on me, sort of like a decoration. Our house is warm and above 72 degrees at all times, so you do not need a heater. We osmosis water Conversely, it would not need a filter. So I wonder if a glass bowl would be healthy for a single betta? Or an aquarium be better? this is where the war broke out. haha. many tanks and plate users disagree. whatsoever. the facts of all this: 1. like a fish tropical Betta fish (Betta yyeess even that is a splendid race, domesticated fish) hot water needs. a stable range between 74-80 degrees. closer 80 degrees of a betta's water, healthier and happier he'll be. 2. bettas produce waste. there is no way around that. you poop. urinate. so will a Betta. will produce ammonia, which can be fatal in mass quantities. 3. bettas need swimming space. no matter who told you why. bettas need space. as that yyoouu. :] These are important aspects to think about. find a betta in a bowl comes with extra work. the constant full water changes (about once or twice a week) are crucial. because there is no filter, you'll need to change the water often to keep ammonia levels down. a living plant would help, but it will not replace changes of water or a filter. a heater is necessary, even in a bowl. a heat lamp might also work. my heat lamp keeps my bettas' water between 76-80 degrees. Cold water can lead to some problems and even lead to your Betta ddeeaattthhh on the road. 2 gallons really should be your minimum, a bowl or an aquarium. bowls actually comes in that size. haha. nothing half gallon will work for you, trust me. you're going to hate. talk about a complete change of water every two days and a very stressed fish. not good. to be honest, I think it depends on you. a bowl is hard work and many owners will ridicule. a tank is correct ideal set-up. iii, sincerely, that my men in 2 gallon pots with a concert floor and a heat lamp. i plan to get Biodome in the near future. these things look and act like large tanks full. they are round and can look great anywhere in your home. comes with a heater and filter.
