Can I use epoxy to make my own aquarium plants?
I’ve seen fish plants with gravel bottoms covered in glue holding it all together. The pet store told me to use epoxy glue to make these – however, the glue sticks to plastic and metal. What type of container can I use to use as a mold to make the plant creations – then once dried – pop it out of the mold? I’ve tried Tupperware as well as the bottom of used water bottles. The epoxy sticks to it all. Please help.
have you tried lining the container with a Kleenex, tissue paper or piece of paper towel or use a paper egg carton? this material will stick to the epoxy but should soak off. Other wise try some Vaseline on the container and wash that off after wards.
