How can I keep my plant healthy freshwater aquarium and live?
I have a freshwater tank with betta it.I only bought one plant i rencently and parts of it are starting to turn now yellowish.I tank near a window where you can see the sunlight, and I am using "Jungle Fertilizer here," But the plant has several parts in it when its turning yellow. What can I do to stop this and to keep the plant healthy and green.?
Since you are using only ambient light rooms, you will want to continue with low light plants, sounds like he suffers from a deficiency of light. This is one of the most common causes of death of aquarium plants. I would recommend very low light, resistant and slow-growing plants such as Java fern, Java moss, Anubias, crypts, swords Marioma Amazon and moss balls. Java Fern is by far the toughest, and I recommend, as it does well in most IDA quariums not nearly all. But Marioma moss balls are often kept in jars easy to bring good luck, whatever your requirements are very low. Often tie mine up a bit of driftwood to give carpet appearance, and protect the delicate fins betta rough edges. tablets plant foods are really efficient only with root crops and often contaminate the water if you decide to go with Java fern, moss either above, or the plant annubias chips will be obsolete, since it will filter mainly through their leaves. Regarding its current plant, what kind is it? What is your power? How long to leave it in? High light plants requiring many as wisteria, Ludwigia, Watermark, annachris, all with high color, red or verigated need 4 + watts per gallon to survive, and many plants as wheel require the injection of CO2 to thrive. The plants also need about 8-10 hours of light each day, so their fixation on the head should be in most of the time. Best of luck!
