Has anyone used NitrateMinus (Tetra) in aquariums? What were the results and did reduce nitrates?
I am considering using this product to reduce nitrates in an aquarium. It is a fish only tank of 180 gallons (only Arowana and a Pleco), but do not really want (and can not because of the design tank) denitrinator mechanic to fit a tank). I do 20% partial water changes every week and nitrates continue to rise there (rather than control food and to remove any excess food not eaten). If you use this product, what were the results? How affective was or not? Did you know you measure the ppm of nitrate reduction? How much was cut? I checked my source of fresh tap water pipe and after they have grown old and has zero nitrate (not measured with the two new test kits that I have).
NM Tetra is an excellent product for emergency use when necessary to reduce nitrates in the tank Quick … except the water exchange process is much better because it emphasizes fish, which to some extent nm, perhaps due to a compound to reduce artificial of nirtrate. I have used nm on situations of SOS, and its good.
