How many parents of a black?
I'm doing a project for my sociology class and PPLS need (all races) opinion why black parents 10 years ago didn't really take their children to films for children, while black parents do now. Plz help this is like all the background information I have so far (and yes I know it's lame) "In my world history class we watched Mulan, Adladin, and never Eyjupt Prince and whenever many black children saw him before. My gf is black and she doesn't even know the history of the Little Mermaid or pocohantas. But I think things are changing my girlfriend of 3 BC and / or niece has everything Dora the Explorer and nephew think Happy Feet is the best film ever.I work at the aquarium last week and saw this little black child crying alone its eyes. I thought I had lost their parents, but when I asked why she was crying was like "I can not find Nemo."
That's easy .. The films are now more ethnically diverse with the heroes and heroines who are more racially diverse. Whereas in the old Disney movies white "princess" was the hero and many people of color or ethnic groups could couldnt have been identified with these films with the same ease. Mulan, Pocahontas and these films are beginning to provide multiracial heroes and heroines in popular culture … and your time:)
