I have a 90 and a gallon 30 gallons, so I need to keep a light coral. asking what is the best time.
Well, that's easy … metal halide if you can afford. However, I have in my 40 gallon MH, because it is the only light that makes the 'reflection' in the water, but I much prefer the look of CFLs in my cube nano coral I have. CF really brings out their best colors. However, I believe is due to the actenic in my CF bulb. I would like actenic add a light bulb in my main tank, but no where to put it because it is a stretch hex. I have also corals that look and I hate MH lighting to move. candycane coral and plate coral, to be exact.
