Do I need my air pump with live aquarium plants?
I recently planted some live plants in my 10gal freshwater aquarium. I read that with an air pump can remove the CO2 that plants need. If they only work for certain amounts of time at certain times of day / night or should stop using it while I have these plants? Thank you!
I have planted large tank that works with a system of CO2 when the lights go back and forth from bubble wall, if you are going to plant your tank seriously, then I suggest you get a book on the topic, watch a lot of PPL are unaware, while that plants can breathe CO2 during periods of light at night the photosynthesis process is reversed and the use of oxygen and release co'2, so the planted less fish tanks. Having a job does not supply oxygen pump which only allows the exchange of gases to the surface to happen more efficiently. AJ
