It is blue / pink light spectrum good for corals?
I'm starting a nano reef 10 gallon, and all I have there now is live rock. I always buy my aquarium lighting hardware, and for my freshwater aquarium well planted bought a blue / pink spectrum fluorescent tubes, marketed as "growing light" and had success. I hear the corals as the blue part of the spectrum, but can not find any "blue" lights. Is the purple-ish sort of agreement? I'll have 2 17-watts per gallon to 10.
