LED lighting options for the marine aquarium?
I wanted to have a lighting unit for my tank made of LEDs (I know how to do LED DIY projects for the non-issue.) He wanted to know the appropriate wavelength for morning, noon, afternoon and colors. Is there any help UV too? I just need proper lighting to the live rock and possibly some macro
For a do it yourself, you need a set of same amount of pure white, royal blue, blue and amber. You can get everything in www.LEDsupply.com In the morning you can create a yellow color (5500K) to white and amber LED for one or two hours, then more white and some blue (10000k) days Medium. After that beginning more real to all blue and blue machine 3-4 hours. To sun down begin to put out embers, then white, blue and blue allow 2 to 3 hours after just one effect of the blue moon for light. Each week, all LED's off For a week hole. Good luck!
