To make RES heat lamp should be on 24 / 7? and what is normal for the baby to open up the water slide?
firstly I would like thank you all for my previous question responses my turtle doesn't make noise as soon as they entered the water from yesterday that never did I think I have the RI heating lamp i wanted to know that I should turn it off at night? or not? 12W bulb its halogene .. and I also wonder if it is normal for the sliders open mouth in the water? my turtle opens its mouth in the water always BT never opens his mouth when no risk or when hes basking in the cold water and opens his mouth .. only a fraction second never opened his mouth fr long time, so is this normal or not? that all well and seems very nice to have an aquarium fr im setting it up will be published as a vid then BT kept him in this little box I made vid u guyz can see that mite help u reply .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GT_Zp1Amnjc best answer is b much appreciated as always thank you very much EVERY1
No, the light should go out at night like the sun does not stay up 24 / 7. And do not forget to UVB light. With regard to the conduct of his turtle, I did not notice anything unusual. When my turtles are hungry, they will splash and open his mouth to catch my attention.
