Where can I get 40WATT fixture for my 20 gallon tank?
My Aquarium of wine and a 15watt lamp 18 "fluorescent blulb … nly the hood is 20 "long … how can I get 40watts of light in my aquarium? I'm at a loss … Blub 40watts is 48 inches long!
There are wedding bells (made using two fluorescent lamps). This changes with the diameter and the production of bulbs used, and the use of incompatible tubes can burn in less than a day (or burn out your ballast in the hood). Why feel the need to increase the lighting? If you are looking to keep the plants or a tank of sea anemones or coral, that is one thing, but if you just want more light, they realize that in light of freshwater tank more often means more algae!
