It is my new 10 gallon aquarium missing a part?

I have a new 10-gallon aquarium today. "Tetra" is the company that did. Wine everything I think, with the exception of a party. Is not is an aquarium that has a plastic cover under the hood to protect the water between the lights?

not always, by the way its usually glass (plastic melts) sometimes the way it was designed making doesn't affect the water as it evaporates so you should be fine.
