House built glass aquarium – how thick the glass should be?

I'm about to build a glass aquarium all glass edge-joined with silicon. I've seen him do a number of times and I am sure I am able to. The size of the finished tank is 150cm long, 60cm high and 50cm deep. I intend to shore up the front and rear, and the two sides and also placed two front brakes Cross running back in the top of the tank at intervals of 50cm and 100cm. Does anyone know how I should calculate the thickness of glass, or does anyone out there has a similar size tank to tell me what that the size of them is. Thanks

Golden Rule: Up to 20 "(51cm) tall – 6 mm to 24" (61cm) high – 10 mm to 30 "(77cm) high – If the tank is 12mm wider than tall, a size up should be used for the base (eg 60×30x24 (lxwxh) must use 10mm to 12mm base). For your tank, the height is greater than the depth of 10mm for all is well. Standard 5×2x2 'Aquarium (153×61x61cm) are constructed with 10mm glass and most use 2 keys in positions similar to what you're going to have.
